       William Ray Davis III,

Bill Davis has been in the oil and gas industry for over thirty-five years:  beginning in 1975, selling drilling equipment - from valves to multimillion dollar rig and subsea equipment packages; an invaluable experience for a future auditor of oil and gas operations.  After completing graduate school in 1977, he was first employed as an internal auditor by Gulf Oil Corporation and then by Internorth, Inc.  At Internorth he was promoted to Director of Auditing for Internorth's exploration and production subsidiary.

In 1984 Mr. Davis resigned from Internorth to establish a CPA practice specializing in auditing oil and gas joint ventures. The firm's assets and employees were acquired by PCS effective January 1, 2001.  

Mr. Davis has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Houston.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and Louisiana, is a Certified Internal Auditor and belongs to the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston ("PASH").  He is experienced in auditing operations in all parts of the contiguous United States, Alaska, Canada, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and South America.

Mr. Davis is a former Marine Corps officer and life member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association.

Senior Vice President

Matt Harper has been an accountant and auditor in the oil and gas industry since 1994. Before joining PCS in 2001, he was previously employed in staff, supervisor and management positions that included employment with Texaco, Inc. and Phillips Petroleum Company. 

Mr. Harper graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting degree from the University of Houston and is a member of PASH. 

Rory Martinez

Senior Joint Venture Analyst

Rory Martinez joined PCS in 2008.  Before joining PCS, he was employed by Sky Ute Lodge & Casino, Ignacio, Colorado.

Mr. Martinez graduated with a Bachelor of Arts - Accountancy degree from Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado.  He is an Associate Accredited Petroleum Accountant and expects full accreditation by this summer and CPA certification next year. 

Jeremiah Johnson

Joint Venture Analyst

Jeremiah Johnson joined PCS in 2008 as a career change.  For the previous ten years Mr. Johnson was involved with professional sports, managing, coaching, and playing collegiate and professional baseball in the United States and Europe.  

Mr. Johnson graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, is a member of PASH and is pursuing the Accredited Petroleum Accountant certification.

 Tien N. Tran

Joint Venture Analyst

Tien Tran joined PCS in 2011 after completing the Master of Accountancy degree program at the University of Houston.  Prior to entering graduate school, Mr. Tran was on active duty as a Marine Corps officer with a specialty in financial management.

In addition to the Master of Accountancy degree, Mr. Tran has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin.  He is concurrently pursuing both the Certified Public Accountant and Accredited Petroleum Accountant certifications.

Legal Advisor

Lee Gill

The legal advisor to PCS is Lee S. Gill of Jones Gill L.L.P. www.jonesgill.com.  Mr. Gill attended the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a B.A. in Economics in 1974 and a Juris Doctor degree in 1977.  He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1977 and the following year to the Louisiana Bar.  For over thirty years, Mr. Gill has been engaged in private practice in Houston, specializing in oil, gas and mineral law and related litigation.  He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Houston Bar Association.

Mr. Gill and his firm act as counsel to PCS on an as-needed basis.  No attorney-client relationship will be established between clients of PCS and Mr. Gill and his firm, except pursuant to a written engagement agreement on a case-by-case basis.  Lee Gill can be reached at 713-652-4068.
